Meet Barbara
I am located in Tamatea and I am a Level 4 Qualified Educarer. I have been with Bright Futures since July 1994.
I enjoy taking the children in my care out and about in the community to do normal everyday things which provide rich learning experiences. Things like going to the supermarket, a walk through the park or down to the shops can offer all sorts of opportunities for children to have fun and grow their learning.
We also attend playgroups and hip hop dance classes weekly as well as Bright Futures excursions to fun and interesting places.
At my home children feel safe and secure and have space to play freely. We enjoy activities such as gardening and crafts. I love to see children initiate their own imaginative play and ‘make believe’ is a big part of our day.
