Meet Nicole

Hi, my name is Nicole

I am based in Otane. I am originally from CHB and have also lived in Hastings. I have been working with children for over seven years in both in-home and centre based environments. I have a Level 3 Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care and have two young boys myself. I am very passionate about children and love to be part of their lives.

I like to do as much professional development as I can to give the best possible care and learning experiences for children in my care. So far this has included courses such as NatureLive, Getting ready for School, Anxiety in Children, Guide to Te Whāriki and Growing in Connection.

Most importantly I ensure children feel safe, happy and loved. This is key for children to learn confidently and become well rounded adults in the future. To achieve this I ensure my home is welcoming with many exciting spaces and resources available. I have a large, safe outdoor area for children to explore and play. We go out on regular outings in the  community to things like playgroups and music sessions as well as spontaneous trips to the park or to other things that they may have an interest in (e.g the Aquarium, bike tracks etc).

My programme is exciting and varied with plenty of time for rest and doing normal things.

Feedback from previous colleagues and families I have worked with;

“I highly recommend Nicole Hall, I would not hesitate to put my children with her. She is a loving, caring Educator. You just have to see how loved her boys are to know she would look after your children with the same love” Paula (Previous in-home co-ordinator)

“I can personally vouch that Nicole is AMAZING with kids & definitely invests in every child hugely”. Diana (past family)

“I will vouch for Nicole Hall. I currently work with her & admire her passion & love for children. She provides exceptional care for all children. Our loss is certainly someone else’s gain’. Kirsty (Sunny Days Teacher, Colleague)

 I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your child too!
