Meet Helen
Hi, my name is Helen, and I am located in Taradale, Napier.
I have been in childcare for 28 years, holding a Level 4 ECE qualification. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing children happy, making progress, and watching them grow into confident young learners. I love interacting with them—children often say the funniest things!
My approach is to create a warm, happy, and safe environment where children have the freedom to explore their interests and learn at their own pace. At home, the children enjoy activities like riding bikes, water play, and family play in my spacious yard. We also love being out in the community for nature walks, park visits, and other adventures.
Home-based education allows me to maintain close, ongoing relationships with families, even after the children move on to school. It’s my passion, and I cherish the freedom it gives me to provide a nurturing, home-like space for children.
