Meet Stephanie
Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am located in Waipukurau.
I am a Level 4 Qualified Educarer and I have been with Bright Futures for many years. I have been involved in childcare and early learning since 1997. I have two grown up sons and enjoy being a grandmother.
I take care to ensure all children feel at home in my home and that parents find it easy to communicate with me about their children.
No matter what age the child is, they learn by doing things they find fun like baking, gardening, painting and being at play. This includes outside play and of course the children love coming to Playgroup and Gym Jam. For me, language is a key part of developing a child’s interest in their surroundings so there’s lots of conversations and describing what we are doing and seeing.
Older children enjoy helping with the babies and they all learn to look after each other. There’s a very strong bond that develops between the children in our house. I just love watching them grow and as an Educarer, I create a portfolio with stories about their learning for you to follow.
